Airport Transfers
Airport Transfers will be provided on Day 2 and Barcelona Airport Transfers on Day 10. Group transfers on arrival at Madrid Airport will operate at 09.30, 12.30 and 15.00. Return transfers from the last hotel will arrive at Barcelona Airport at 9.00. For passengers who wish to be transferred to Madrid, we will transfer you to the Trafalgar extra night hotel in Madrid with arrival around 6pm* London Gateways: Transfers can be expensive, particularly between the Airport and central London. When you book your tour with Trafalgar your transfers to and from the airport are included. It's that simple. Trafalgar has included a Free transfer to and from your airport and Central London. * Important – Please Note Passengers will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports providing the following conditions are met:
* You are staying at a London hotel, booked by Trafalgar, on the night of your arrival and the night prior to the date of your departure.
* Flights are either booked by Trafalgar or detailed information on flights is provided by your Travel Agent not less than 21 days prior to departure.
* Only one included transfer both inbound and outbound per tour is included by Trafalgar. Transfers are by express train to a Central London Rail Station.
* Heathrow Airport: Inbound transfers operate between 06.00-21.30. Outbound transfers are timed to connect with scheduled flights departing between 08.00-23.00. Transfers will be by coach. Gatwick Airport: Inbound transfers operate between 06.00-12.30.

 

Outbound transfers are timed to connect with scheduled flights departing between 08.00-23.00. Transfers will be by express train and coach. Transfers outside these times will be at the passengers own expense.
* In the event of unforeseen events (road or rail works, demonstrations, strikes) Trafalgar will not be held responsible for delayed or cancelled transfers. * No refund is available for passengers not utilising this service.
# Why not upgrade to a Hotelink transfer from the Airport to-the-door of your Trafalgar London hotel? (please ask Trafalgar or your travel agent of the additional upgrade price per person when booking)
# European Gateways: With Trafalgar all passengers will receive complimentary arrival and departure transfers on the scheduled arrival and departure day of their tour at the times specified below. Please ensure your Travel Agent reserves your flight to co-ordinate with the transfer times shown.
# Trafalgar Bonus - Passengers who book Trafalgar's Land+Air package and who arrive or depart outside of these specified times on the scheduled arrival and departure day of the tour will also be provided with a transfer.
# Passengers arriving before or leaving after the scheduled tour days are not entitled to a transfer but may book and purchase one through Trafalgar providing that they also purchase the additional pre and/or post tour hotel night(s) from Trafalgar.


# Land only passengers arriving or departing on the scheduled tour arrival or departure days but whose flights don't coincide with the listed transfer times below may also book and purchase these transfers. RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT
Deposit - $200 per person per tour (non-refundable)
Final Payment - At least 60 days prior to tour departure* date
1. Trafalgar accepts payments in the form of checks, money orders, Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Card. Your payment is not deemed made until it is received by Trafalgar Tours.
2. A non-refundable/non-transferrable deposit of $200 per person and per tour is required for us to hold seats for you. Payment in full is required at time of booking for reservations made less than 60 days before departure*.
3. In order to secure space booked, Trafalgar should be advised of your credit card number when making the reservation.
4. The deposit forms part of your final payment and if not received within 7 DAYS of booking the reservation will automatically be cancelled. On certain departures, deposits may be required to hold seats at time of booking.
5. The final payment is due 60 days prior to departure*. If full payment is not received 60 days prior to departure the Airline(s) has the right to cancel your air reservation. Regrettably, if payment is not received by Trafalgar we will not be responsible for lost reservations. Alaskan cruises and any rail journey require full payment 60 days prior to departure.
6. Trafalgar reserves the right to cancel the reservation and impose cancellation charges should payments not be received within the above specified periods.


7. Any special meal requirements will be made on a REQUEST basis only. Trafalgar cannot GUARANTEE special meal requests nor will it assume any responsibility or liability if passengers' special meal requests are not fulfilled.

Cancellations and Cancellation Fees:
• If notice of cancellation is received by Trafalgar Tours 45 days or more prior to departure*, the non-refundable deposit will be retained, along with the Travel Protection, (see brochures for further details or contact travel agent).
• Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Trafalgar.
• The following scale of charges will apply when notice of cancellation is given after the booking is confirmed:

21-8 days - 30%

• The following scale of charges will apply to any combination of Tour + Cruise or Tour + Train when notice of cancellation is given after the booking is confirmed:

Over 50 days - the non-refundable deposit
50-35 days - 35%
34-20 days - 50%
19-8 days - 75%
7 days or less - 100%

* Please Note: The departure date constitutes the date indicated on Trafalgar's confirmation. If you do not join the tour on the day of departure then cancellation fees will be 100%.
